SPICY MARI is the CEO and Founder of The Spicy Life Inc., a relationship consulting firm. As a Relationship Expert & Magnetic Matchmaker she is focused on encouraging individuals/couples to unlock the power of their passion in order to attract their purpose-mate.
Spicy Mari’s life purpose is helping people to find love and teaching them how to sustain it. She created easy to apply strategies and methods known as Spicy Tips based on her S.P.I.C.Y. Fundamentals: Self, Passion, Intimacy, Communication and learning to say “Yes,” the key components to forming and maintaining healthy and fulfilling relationships.
Spicy has mastered the method of fueling deep connections and developed dynamic relationship curriculums, seminars and events for her clients including well-known celebrities and everyday people. ​
Spicy is currently starring as the Relationship Expert on Netflix’s Dating Show, Sneaky Links. Her previous work includes MTV’s The Love Experiment and Paramount+ Love Allways as a relationship coach. She has been featured on ABC, the Tamron Hall Show, Access Hollywood, E! Daily Pop, NBC Access Live, VH1’s Basketball Wives, BuzzFeed, Essence Magazine, Soul Pancake, Tastemade, LATV Network, iHeartRadio and more. Spicy has a B.A. in Communications from the University of California-Berkeley, an M.A. in Communication from USC, clinical foundations in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and a dating certification from the International Dating Coach Association. Spicy is a certified domestic violence advocate for the state of California, and a certified Bumble Dating Expert. She is also a proud member of Spelman College’s “Sweet” Mu Pi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Spicy resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Chae, and son, Princeton.
